I am a father to four awesome boys and to one very special daughter. It was a long wait for a daughter as she is number 4 in the order of my five children. I will never forget the surprise I got in 2006 when the ultrasound revealed her to me and my wife. The anxious silence in the room before we were told. There is always that pause, when you could literally hear a pin drop, as the ultrasonographer quickly scans the screen, looking for things both good and bad. Then she clears her throat and tells you “you have a girl”. It’s a great feeling and I am so grateful that God blessed me with a daughter. I’m so proud of her.
